It was a good time at Great Northern Field, where fans came to watch the Ft. Worth Cattlemen and Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC get after it.

The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC knocked off the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 6-1. Thunder Bay starter Tyler MacHugh pitched well enough to earn top player honors. Thunder Bay improves to 52-37 with the win. They lead their division by 2½ games.

Kenzaburo Hori's at-bat in the bottom of the second was significant for the Northern Lions BC. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Thunder Bay trailing 1-0, the second baseman drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

Hori told the Thunder Bay Observer: "This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents. Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
