A 4-RBI performance from first baseman Mario Ramos, who is tied for 6th in the SL in home runs with 15, led the Grafton Middies to a 6-3 win over the Northern Virginia Retrievers. Grafton starter Allen Yohemas was credited with the win after throwing 120 pitches over 7.1 innings. His record now stands at 8-7. Grafton has now won 4 games in a row.

One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the third, when Ramos hit a 2-run double. The Middies went on to win.

"I like the roll we're on," said Grafton manager Bill Cefaratti.
