Pittman Sensational for Stingers
|
Toledo Stingers starter Arnie Pittman was in fine form against the Buckhead Bowties at Pacesetter Park, leading his team to a 7-4 win. Brandeis Vogt picked up the save for Toledo, his 17th of the year. Buckhead now has a 6-game losing streak.
Pittman gave Toledo a solid start. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits over 8 innings.
"We had a good game plan," Pittman said, "and we were able to execute it."
