The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC turned back the Buckhead Bowties, 5-4, at Great Northern Field. Chris Gregory was named player of the game for his fine performance. He was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The first-place Bowties have lost 4 straight games.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Gregory hit a fastball from Joshua Long for a run-scoring single. The Northern Lions BC, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
