With shortstop Xavier Vásquez leading the charge, the Austin Rangers defeated the Buckhead Bowties, 8-4, at Buckhead Grounds. Vásquez, who is tied for 6th in the SL in triples with 3, went 3 for 5 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2 times. Júlio Rodríguez got the save, the 14th for him this season. Their 40-32 record puts the Rangers second in the Division II.

One important at-bat came with a runner on 1st in the top of the first, when Vásquez hit a double. The Rangers went on to win.
