Stingers Suffer 4-2 Setback
|
Houston rode a good effort from starter Collin Hill to beat the Toledo Stingers at Houston Grounds. The final score was 4-2. Francisco Valdés was credited with the save for Houston, his 19th of the season. Houston now sits at 33-39, while Toledo falls to 38-34.
Also producing for Houston was first baseman Chris Rice, who stroked a 2-run single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, Rice was 1 for 3, while adding 2 RBI.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," said Hill.
