Austin first baseman Yun Yen picked up 4 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Grafton Middies, 14-5. John Wilkins earned the win to go to 3-3. He allowed 3 earned runs on 6 hits, with 4 walks and 3 strikeouts. After today's action, Austin sits at 38-30, while Grafton falls to 32-36.

The Rangers beat the Middies in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the single Jeff Green produced in the top of the third. Batting against Grafton pitcher Robbie Baxter, he gave his team a 4-2 lead when he hit a 2-run single.
