Callison Shines in Retrievers Win
The Northern Virginia Retrievers relied on the hitting of third baseman Brett Callison to stop the Phoenix Hotspur, 5-0. For the game, Callison belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. With the win over Phoenix, the Retrievers improved to 31-28.

Northern Virginia took a 5-0 lead on Callison's 6th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Wes Hamm in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Northern Virginia to the win.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Callison.
