Losing Streak Continues for Bowties with 7-6 Loss
Mysterious Walker did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Buckhead Bowties from losing, 7-6, to the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC at Great Northern Field. Walker was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Jorge Castillo picked up the save for Thunder Bay, his 15th of the year. Thunder Bay has now won 3 straight, while the Bowties have lost 8 in a row.

Arnold Griffith contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single. It was one at-bat that propelled Thunder Bay to the win.

"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Buckhead skipper Kerry Hofmeister.
