Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Northern Lions BC
The Northern Lions BC grabbed a 3-2 win at Great Northern Field, overcoming a fine effort from Buckhead pitcher Pedro Ortíz. Ortíz went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Thunder Bay reliever Jorge Castillo picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Henry Yates shouldered the loss. The slumping Bowties have dropped 7 in a row.

One significant at-bat for Thunder Bay came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the ninth. The hitter, Kenzaburo Hori, drew a walk, which helped the Northern Lions BC go on to win.
