The Vancouver Grey Wolves picked up a win at Wolf Den in Vancouver, knocking off the D.C. Divided, 5-4. Starting pitcher Allen Blair played a key role in the triumph. Burt Booth recorded the save for Vancouver, his 2nd of the season. The Vancouver Grey Wolves are off to a tough start, getting just their 6th win in 16 games.

Vancouver took a 5-2 lead on Tony Farquharson's 12th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Farquharson hit in the bottom of the seventh, left D.C. pitcher Yoriyoshi Yamamoto visibly frustrated.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said D.C. manager Jonathan Gerth.
