Allen Helps Cattlemen Beat Aviators
Spirited fans at Boeing Dome greeted the Seattle Aviators for their clash with the Ft. Worth Cattlemen.

The Ft. Worth Cattlemen trumped the Seattle Aviators, 16-2, at Boeing Dome. Ft. Worth second baseman John Allen was named player of the game for his performance. He went 3-5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5. Bartolomeu Lio was the winner. Over 8.2 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 4 hits, with 3 walks and 6 strikeouts.

Early in the game, first baseman Bart Lewis had a 2-run triple for Ft. Worth. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Cattlemen on top, 3-1.
