The Houston 1837 BBC picked up a win at Houston Grounds, knocking off the Buckhead Bowties, 3-2. Starting pitcher Makoto Kato played a key role in the triumph. The slumping Bowties have dropped 7 in a row.

Jack Robbins was the walk-off hero for Houston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Houston right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Buckhead manager Kerry Hofmeister. "But we decided not to take it."
