The D.C. Divided beat the Boston Patriots, 12-5, at Washington Stadium. The Divided got a fine performance from catcher Mario Castillo, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The D.C. Divided, now 10-5, have been red hot.

Castillo contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for D.C. in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 3-2, Castillo took a fastball from Bruce Wright and stroked the home run to left. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Divided to leap in front, 5-3.

"Good win for us," said Castillo. "We'll lace up our cleats and go after the next one."
