Padilla came through with some timely hitting for Thunder Bay. With the score 1-0 in the bottom of the third and two down, Padilla hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was his 11th hit of the season -- and a big reason the Northern Lions BC managed to win.

In postgame remarks, Padilla said: "We put it together today and came out with the win -- that's the main thing."

The next game is set to be played on Saturday, October 10th, 2026 at Great Northern Field. Slated to start are Pancho Padilla for the Patriots and Mauro Guerra for the Northern Lions BC.
