Cattlemen Rally For 7-4 Win
The Cattlemen had to overcome a fine effort from Northern Virginia pitcher David Hudson to grab a 7-4 win at Ballpark of Northern Virginia. Hudson went 6 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Ft. Worth reliever Jason Horne picked up the win to move to 3-2. Raúl Gómez suffered the loss. The Cattlemen now have a record of 15-15.

Enrique Marroquín had the most critical at-bat for Ft. Worth, coming in the top of the 12th inning with one out and runners on 1st and 2nd. Marroquín hit a 0-2 forkball from Raúl Gómez for a run-scoring single. It put Ft. Worth in front, 5-4.

"The game of baseball will test you," said Scott Thompson, the Ft. Worth skipper. "This one tested us."
