Grafton rode a fine outing from starter Daniel Martínez to victory over the Phoenix Hotspur at Field of the Middies. The final score was 4-2. Getting the save was Lynwood Matos, his 6th. The win puts the Middies at 12-18, while the Hotspur drop to 13-17.

Also doing his part was shortstop Carlos Maldonado, who stroked a single in the bottom of the third for Grafton. For the game, Maldonado went 1 for 3.
