Retrievers Walk Off with Win

Northern Virginia Retrievers starter Natalino Golaio was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Buckhead Bowties, 3-2. Northern Virginia now sits in 9th place in the Division II at 10-14.
In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 2-2, left fielder Francisco Ornelas won it for Northern Virginia. With a runner on 2nd, Ornelas hit a 1-2 curveball from Joshua Long for a run-scoring double, giving his team a 3-2 win.
"This place was electric at the end," Golaio said.
