Athletic Club KC rode a fine outing from starter Bob Sosa to victory over the Walla Walla Walleye at Walleye Tank. The final score was 3-1. Rubén Rivera locked down his 11th save. Athletic Club KC goes to 48-46, Walla Walla to 58-36.

The U-21 beat the Walleye in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the double Tsai Ng produced in the top of the seventh. Batting against Walla Walla pitcher Bartolo Ruíz, he gave his team a 2-1 lead when he hit a run-scoring double.

"Bob did a tremendous job," said Athletic Club KC manager Juan Medellín.
