Cattlemen Come Up Short at Thunder Bay
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC topped the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 7-4, in Silver League action at Great Northern Field. The player of the game was Thunder Bay pitcher and Tipitapa, Nicaragua native Ramón Molina. Molina got the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed 1 hits and walked 2 over 6.1 innings. Molina allowed 1 earned run. Jorge Castillo was called on to finish, recording his 6th save.

Thunder Bay took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, Chris Gregory hit a grand slam home run to make it 4-0, Northern Lions BC.

"I was a little disappointed," said Ft. Worth manager Scott Thompson. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
