Santos goes 4-for-4 as Middies Squeeze Past Houston
|
The Houston 1837 BBC were defeated, 8-0, by the Grafton Middies. Leading the charge for Grafton was second baseman Pedro Santos. He was 4-4 with 3 doubles and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Grafton is 4th in the Division II with a record of 11-11.
Carlos Maldonado, the Grafton shortstop, contributed a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third inning to make the score 4-0, Middies. For the game, Maldonado went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3.
