Yellowknife Dragonblood starter Justin Connolly turned in an exceptional performance against the Washington Generals at The Dragon Den, resulting in a Yellowknife win, 3-1. Manuel Torres closed it out for his 7th save. The Dragonblood now have a record of 49-36.
Washington had the bases loaded in the top of the ninth. With one out, Trevor O'Herlihy stood at the plate, hoping to find a gap. Instead, he hit into a double play. The score remained 3-1, Yellowknife. The Generals never could mount a comeback.
