Alameda beat Yellowknife at Alameda Field, escaping with a 5-3 win. The win in large part was due to designated hitter Howard Lee, who earned player of the game honors. He went 3-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Alameda reliever Jesús Pineda was credited with the win, to go to 1-1. Fernando Elías took the loss for Yellowknife. Getting the save was Billy Mays, his 4th.

Alameda took the lead in the bottom of the seventh when Lee hit a 2-run double. His 11th double made the score 3-1, Alameda.

Lee attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."

The Airmen raised their record to 36-48.
