Express Walk Off with Win
|
The Wizarding Express topped the Athletic Club KC by the score of 7-6, with the largest share of the credit going to second baseman Wu Le. Le was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Express. It was the 9th win in 13 games this year for the defending champion Express, who are picking up where they left off.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Le hit a cutter from Arnaldo Bodabalho for a solo home run. The Express, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Le told the Wizarding Daily News.
