The South Beach Blaze and Alameda Airmen obliged those fans who came to Alameda Field looking for a good time.

Yehonatan Chazan had a good game, but he could not keep the Alameda Airmen from falling, 8-5, to the South Beach Blaze at Alameda Field. The Alameda right fielder was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 in the loss. Malulani Anakone picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 4 earned runs on 6 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 12. On the season, he is now 6-5. Carlos Ortega earned the save for South Beach, his 2nd of the year.

Hideki Hisanobu didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring triple to put South Beach on top, 1-0.

Hisanobu told the South Beach Herald: "This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents. Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
