Both teams had their chances, but the Yellowknife Dragonblood eventually prevailed at Columbia Stadium.

Yellowknife Dragonblood starter Doug Freeth was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Columbia River Rats, 5-1. Freeth got the win, improving to 4-6. He allowed 5 hits and walked 2 over 8.1 innings. Freeth allowed 1 earned run. Víctor Solís picked up the save for Yellowknife, his 10th of the year.
