U-21 Topple Blaze as Younger Shines
It was a fun time at ACKC Youth Field, where the South Beach Blaze and Athletic Club KC U-21 tangled.

With designated hitter Richard Younger leading the charge, the Athletic Club KC U-21 defeated the South Beach Blaze, 11-1, at ACKC Youth Field. Younger, who is tied for 7th in the PA with a .300 batting average, was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. The 7th-place U-21 lifted their record to 20-25.

Athletic Club KC took the lead in the bottom of the first on a big hit from Héctor Barrios. On a 0-1 fastball from Rob Ford, Barrios hit a 2-run single. That made it 2-0, U-21. For the day, Barrios was 2-5 with 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs.

"We took it on the chin today," said losing manager Justin Trewhells.
