Gustavo Tobías pitched well, but the Yellowknife Dragonblood still lost the game, falling 3-1 to the Alameda Airmen at The Dragon Den. Alameda currently is in 6th place in the Premier A at 19-22.
Also playing a key role was Armando Carmona. The Alameda center fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the seventh. For the game, Carmona was 2 for 3 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times.
