In a well-pitched game between the Alameda Airmen and the Yellowknife Dragonblood, pitcher Mathieu Neri was superb. The Alameda left-hander was named the player of the game in Alameda's 2-1 win. With the win, the Airmen have a record of 18-22.
Neri, who was born in Punto Fijo, Venezuela, threw 97 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing 1 earned run.
