The South Beach Blaze did just enough to secure a 5-0 victory over the Washington Generals at Washington Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Victor Lustig, who captured player of the game honors. South Beach is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 3rd in 9 games.

In the top of the sixth, Bastiaan Trommel had a big run-scoring double off Justin Barber. With the double, the South Beach third baseman put his team in front, 1-0. He went 1-3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs in the contest.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Lustig.
