Cauldrons Suffer 9-4 Setback
River Rats left fielder Alejandro Castillo put his stamp on his team's 9-4 win over the Hogsmeade Cauldrons. Castillo went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times for Columbia in the contest. Columbia reliever José Fuentes was credited with the win, to go to 2-0. Fred Gunther took the loss for Hogsmeade. The loss drops Hogsmeade to 2-7.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, right fielder JoJo Victory came through big-time for the River Rats. With Columbia leading 6-4, he belted a 3-run home run.

"We're all smiles after that win," Castillo told the Columbia Herald.
