Singletary Helps BC Beat Expos
Another game, another loss for the struggling Niagara Falls Expos.

The Put-In-Bay BC stopped the Niagara Falls Expos, 6-1, at Put-In-Bay Ballpark. The BC got a big game from Norm Singletary, who was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Bill Edmonds finished the game for Put-In-Bay and earned his 3rd save.

When the BC needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Singletary who delivered. Facing Niagara Falls pitcher Javier Matajudíos the bottom of the fifth with a runner on 1st, Singletary hit his 5th home run of the year. It made the score 4-1.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play ever better," said Put-In-Bay manager Tim Davis.
