Bulls Come Up Short at Grim
The Grim Reapers racked up a win at The Coffin, bumping off the Mt. Vernon Bulls, 7-3. Quinton Richards, who started for Grim, pitched effectively for his team. The first-place Reapers, at 62-32, now lead their division by 3˝ games.

The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the fourth. But Quinton Richards pitched out of a jam. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and Mt. Vernon trailing 1-0, Richards retired Ken Gardner, who grounded out.
