It was a fun time at Ramblers Ballpark, where the Louisiana Dragoons and Chicago Tula tangled.
Chicago Tula starter Pang Qin was in fine form against the Louisiana Dragoons at Ramblers Ballpark, leading his team to a 6-1 win. The winner was Chicago reliever Howard Vidaurri, now 5-2. The loser was Nathan Moree.
A key at-bat in the game came in the bottom of the fifth inning when the Tula sent teenager Rubén Dubón to the plate against Dragoons hurler Nathan Moree. With runners on 1st and 2nd and a whole stadium watching, the kid controlled his nerves and delivered huge, hitting a single off a 1-0 cutter to score 1.
"I like our moxie," said Chicago Tula manager Nacho Rivero.
With the win over Louisiana, the Tula improved to 54-40.
