BC Best Jets in Pitching Duel
|
Put-In-Bay BC starter James Neutron turned in a sterling performance against the Kennesaw Jets, leading his team to a slim 2-1 win. The BC sit in 4th place in the Silver A with a record of 55-37.
Tied up with the Jets in the bottom of the fourth, the BC got a boost from shortstop Manuel Rosales. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Rosales saw a 0-1 splitter from Carl Sampson and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Put-In-Bay on top, 2-1.
"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Rosales.
