Victory Pushes Dragoons Record to 55-35
|
The Louisiana Dragoons scored a 4-3 win versus the Phoenix Hotspur U-21 at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium. Louisiana pitcher Alfredo Velásquez nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. The Louisiana Dragoons have an impressive 55-35 record.
Domingo Colón was a key contributor to the win for the Dragoons. In the bottom of the third with two out, the light-hitting first baseman stroked a single to right. He was 1 for 3 with a walk.
"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Colón. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
