Stingers Suffer 7-2 Loss to Retrievers
The Northern Virginia Retrievers picked up a win at Ballpark of Northern Virginia, knocking off the Toledo Stingers, 7-2. Starting pitcher Natalino Golaio was an essential part of his team's success. The Toledo Stingers, now 6-6, continue their poor start.

Northern Virginia took the lead in the bottom of the first when Munemori Ohara stroked a bases-clearing double. That made the score 3-0 in favor of Northern Virginia. For the day, Ohara was 1 for 3 with a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Ohara.
