Great Day for Boyter in Dragoons Win
|
Louisiana left fielder Jeremy Boyter played a vital role in his team's 5-3 triumph over Put-In-Bay. He went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for Louisiana. Paul Addison earned the win for Louisiana. He lasted 6.2 innings, allowing no earned runs on 3 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 9-2. Cornelius Bigelow earned the save, his 1st, for the Dragoons.
Early in the game, catcher Guillermo Arellano had a 2-run double for Louisiana. It was his 23rd double of the season and put the Dragoons on top, 2-0.
"We've got a great group of guys," Arellano said, "and we're having fun right now."
Louisiana, at 53-33, sits in second place in the Silver A.
