People near Storm Park no doubt heard the roar of the crowd as the winning run crossed the plate.

Storm first baseman Alejandro Villegas put his stamp on his team's 8-4 win over the Mancelona Torch. Villegas was 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Syracuse in the contest. The 9th-place Storm now have a win-loss record of 28-47.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Villegas hit a fastball from Ramiro Elizondo for a grand slam home run. The Storm, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Villegas.
