Expos Suffer 4-2 Loss to Hotspur U-21
|
The Phoenix Hotspur U-21 picked up a win at Waterfall Park, knocking off the Niagara Falls Expos, 4-2. Starting pitcher Lorenzo Ventura was an essential part of his team's success. Ventura picked up the win for Phoenix, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 4-2. Jim Unknown, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities.
Also making an impact was left fielder Hieronymus Bosch, who drilled a 2-run double in the top of the fifth for Phoenix. For the game, Bosch was 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
