The Austin Rangers topped the Buckhead Bowties, 3-2, in Silver League action at Rangers Stadium. The player of the game was Austin pitcher and Pawtucket, Rhode Island native Art Adams. The loss lowers the record for Buckhead to 3-6.

A decisive at-bat came in the bottom of the sixth inning. With a runner on 3rd, the batter, Count Dante, hit a sacrifice fly. It made the score 3-2, Austin, and helped them go on to win.

"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Adams.
