Fans who came to The Coffin watched the Grim Reapers and the Syracuse Storm fight to the finish.

In a well-pitched game between the Grim Reapers and the Syracuse Storm, pitcher Darius Baxa was fantastic. The Grim right-hander was named the player of the game in Grim's 3-1 win. Stu Noble earned the save, his 6th, for the Reapers.

Baxa, the winner, is now 8-3. In 8 innings of work, he gave up no earned runs on 1 hit, while collecting 5 Ks. He basically put the clamps on the Syracuse offense.

"I liked his command," said Grim manager . "Darius was throwing strikes."

Grim, now 28-23, holds 5th place in the Silver A.
