BC Topple Torch with Late Rally
Put-In-Bay starter Benjamin Busto had a strong outing against the Mancelona Torch at Torch Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-5 win. Busto picked up the win for Put-In-Bay, going 8 innings. He gave up 5 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 4-3. Earning his 3rd save for Put-In-Bay was Garrett Harrington.

Peter Heard's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a fastball from Tony Ruíz for a run-scoring double. It put Put-In-Bay in front, 6-5.

"We've got a great group of guys," Busto said, "and we're having fun right now."

The BC saw their win-loss record go to 28-17. At the same time, the Torch fall to 30-15.
