Pitcher Allen Yohemas was sensational for the Grafton Middies in his team's 5-0 triumph over the Northern Virginia Retrievers. Yohemas received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Domingo Álvarez closed it out for his 1st save. The loss drops Northern Virginia to 2-6.

Dennis Clifton drew 1 walk for Grafton. In the bottom of the sixth, with the teams deadlocked, 0-0, Clifton delivered for the Middies. His run-scoring sacrifice fly put Grafton on top, 1-0.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Clifton. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
