Storm, Ríos Pin Bad Loss on Expos
Storm second baseman Ricardo Ríos put his stamp on his team's 12-2 win over the Niagara Falls Expos. Ríos was 3 for 5 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 6 for Syracuse in the contest. The Storm' win now puts them at 12-26.

Ríos came through with some timely hitting for Syracuse. With the score 2-1 in the top of the fourth and no one down, Ríos hit a 2-1 changeup for a 2-run double. It was his 8th double of the season -- and a big reason the Storm managed to win.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Orlando Batista.
