The Kennesaw Jets did just enough to secure a 7-4 victory over the Niagara Falls Expos at Waterfall Park. Nobody did more than pitcher José Díaz, who captured player of the game honors. The 7th-place Jets now have a win-loss record of 13-23.

In the top of the 2nd, the Jets grabbed the lead when Ben Simpson rapped a two-out home run. Kennesaw was trailing 1-0, when Simpson hit a 2-run home run off Javier Matajudíos to put his team in front, 2-1.

"We'll build on this win," said Simpson.
