Torch Fall Short at Chicago
Getting an impressive start from Javier Romero, Chicago beat Mancelona by the score of 5-2. The Tula now have a record of 19-13 with the win over Mancelona.

Marcos Alfaro was a key contributor to the win for the Tula. In the bottom of the sixth with two out, the light-hitting third baseman stroked a single to center. He was 1-3.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Alfaro told the Chicago Observer.
