Kevin Johnson knocked in all 3 runs for the Louisiana Dragoons, helping them beat the Put-In-Bay BC, 3-1. Alfredo Velásquez picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-0. James Neutron was tagged with the loss. Ángel Gómez earned the save for Louisiana, his 1st of the year.

Louisiana grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the eighth, when Johnson, who leads the SA in home runs with 4, hit a 3-run home run. His 4th home run put the Dragoons out in front, 3-0.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Johnson told the Louisiana News. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."

Louisiana, at 15-3, has sizzled in the early going.
