The Mancelona Torch and Mt. Vernon Bulls obliged those fans who came to Ballpark of Mt. Vernon looking for a good time.

The Mancelona Torch topped the Mt. Vernon Bulls, 11-4, with Yataro Matsuura playing a big role. Matsuura went 4-5 with a triple and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Torch in the win. The Bulls fall to 6-8 and continue their lackluster start in 2026.

Kyle Vandenbrink contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the seventh. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run double. It was one at-bat that propelled Mancelona to the win.

"Good win for us," said Vandenbrink. "Now we'll focus on the next one."
