Dragoons Reel Off Another Win
Louisiana beat Grim at The Coffin, eking out a 6-4 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Ángel Gómez, who earned player of the game honors. Gómez was the winning pitcher and moves to 2-0. He threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 2 walks. The Louisiana Dragoons, now 10-1, have been playing some good baseball.

Walt Norrish in the top of the second had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Dragoons trailing 1-0, the Louisiana designated hitter grounded out, driving in 1 run.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Louisiana manager Steve Hawkins.
